I’m an aspiring nurse and former frontend web developer. I started out as a complete newbie, but learned so much within the past couple of years. I’ve since changed career paths and am currently getting my CNA license and applying for a nursing program in the summer.
Where it started…
I started out as a graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2013. After attaining an internship at a startup marketing firm I learned front end web development and remained as the lead developer and watched as the company grew until 2017. I left early this same year to pursue a career in nursing.
Soon I enrolled back into school to take the medical-related prerequisites necessary in preparation to apply to an accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing program.
And today.
I’m currently working on getting a certified nurse aid certificate and applying for positions in the healthcare industry in Dallas, Texas. I plan on applying to the Texas Tech nursing program by the end of the summer which officially starts January of 2018.
